Based in Hassocks, Paynes Bee farm is a family run business. Started in 1922 by Fred Payne. With just a few hives, he became well known in the beekeeping world, selling honey to the Local shops and helping many other beekeepers.

Since then, the business has grown and still family run with many hundreds of hives spread across the Sussex Downs.

We stock 454g jars & 225g jars of both the Set & Runny local honey, plus other honeys supplied by Paynes. 340g jars are being phased in by Paynes, as honey prices continue to rise.
